Research & New Therapies for Epilepsy

Are you interested in current epilepsy research? If so, join us as the Epilepsy Foundation’s Chief Medical and Innovation Officer, Dr. Jaqueline French, MD, shares new treatment options for epilepsy, advances in existing therapies, and what’s in the pipeline. This presentation is a repeat of Dr. French’s talk done on November 7th during our Hawaii Epilepsy Education Conference.

We will also hear from the Clinical Research Coordinators of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Hawaii Pacific Neuroscience as they share information about the clinical trials in epilepsy being investigated right here in Hawaii. The Clinical Research Coordinators work directly under the PI and manage the day-to-day logistics of the clinical trials. The team leaders have extensive research experience and provide oversight with the PI to ensure the proper management of multiple trials.
